Project Overview
Steel Element OÜ designed, fabricated and delivered the complete steel frame for the new Lidl store at Raadiku 11, Tallinn, Estonia. The project comprised 75 tonnes of structural steel, fully compliant with EN 1090 execution class EXC2.

Scope of Work
Our scope included the complete fabrication, surface treatment and delivery of the steel frame to site. A full EN 1090 EXC2 documentation package was supplied, including material certificates, welding procedure specifications (WPS) and quality control protocols. Surface treatment included:
Pinnakäitlus hõlmas:
- Abrasive blasting to Sa 2.5
- Epoxy primer for corrosion protection (category C3)
- Intumescent fire-protective coating to fire-resistance class R60
- Top coat in the specified RAL colour

Technical Details
The frame consists of primary and secondary structural elements in S355 structural steel. All welding was carried out by certified welders in accordance with EN ISO 3834-2, and the structure is CE-marked to EN 1090-1. Connections were designed and executed to meet the requirements of execution class EXC2.
