Work starts from your drawing and ends with a marked, painted and documented structure on site. No middlemen — fabrication takes place in our own plant.

Certificates covering fabrication

EN 1090-2:2018+A1:2024, execution class up to EXC 3. Certificate holder ISM OÜ, issued by TÜV Eesti OÜ (notified body 1526), certificate no. 1526-CPR-1090-1.0122.TÜVEESTI.2025.000, valid until 27.10.2028. EXC 3 covers structures whose failure has significant consequences — large industrial buildings, high-rise buildings, energy facilities.

EN ISO 3834-2:2021 — comprehensive quality requirements for welding. Process 135 (MAG), material groups 1.1, 1.2, 1.4 and 3.2. Welding engineer Pavel Kopanev, IWE.

EN ISO 9001:2015 — Steel Element OÜ, TÜV NORD CERT GmbH, certificate no. 44 100 222713, valid until 08.01.2029.

EPD — environmental product declaration, increasingly requested in public procurement and on LEED/BREEAM projects.

Surface treatment

A blasting and paint chamber of 5 × 15 × 4 m allows whole elements to be treated without cutting them into sections. Surface preparation Sa 2,5 or Sa 3 to EN ISO 8501-1, coatings up to corrosivity category C5 to EN ISO 12944.

In practice this means a project requiring C3M or C4 needs no subcontracting — the whole cycle stays in one chain under one responsibility.

What you receive with the structure

  • CE marking and Declaration of Performance (DoP)
  • Material certificates 3.1 to EN 10204
  • Welder qualification certificates
  • Welding procedure specifications (WPS/WPQR)
  • Dimensional and coating inspection reports
  • Assembly drawings and marking plans

The documentation package follows the execution class of the project. EXC 3 requirements are considerably stricter than EXC 2 — this is stated in the quotation from the start, not added later as an extra.

Who does the manufacturing

Steel Element OÜ (Tuukri 54, Tallinn) handles sales, client work and design. Fabrication, welding and surface treatment are carried out by ISM OÜ (Linnuka tee 5, Jõelähtme parish). Both companies have the same owner and work as one team — the EN 1090-2 certificate is issued to our own production company, not to a third party.
